Hopper is an accredited travel agency that partners with airlines, hotels, homes, and car rental providers across the globe. It is the #1 most downloaded travel app in North America. Hopper’s mission is to be the most user-friendly platform that helps travelers save money when booking hotels, cars and flights.
Challenge
The great competition in the travel industry keeps Hopper innovative and open-minded. They were already aware of the great benefits of TikTok. However they felt like they were not up to date in-house when it comes to TikTok trends discovery and content production. That’s why they decided to ask Reelpop for support.

Solution
For Hopper, our plan was to focus on entertaining and inspiring top of funnel content. This way, we planned to increase the followers and create more awareness among the target audience, so that they will use Hopper’s service on their next trip.
We also saw potential to partner with relevant TikTok influencers to reach the widest possible audience. Furthermore, we planned to use user-generated content to expand the paid TikTok Aquise channel as well.

Results
Hopper’s TikTok account quickly picked up steam through the versatile measures and gained new followers at a good pace. The breakthrough came through the cooperation with well-known influencers. We were then able to test organic content to find TikToks that were performing particularly well. These were then boosted by the Spark Ads format to gain even more reach.
